About

Ravel’s throwing himself an un-birthday —well, almost! Around the globe, people are remembering the anniversary of his passing  (250 years ago? We're not so sure).

But here, we celebrate him as he deserves:
Three musicians, in solo, duo, and trio!

A morning filled with music, combining French elegance and salon camaraderie.

About the event

Around the world, everyone is celebrating Ravel's birthday to mark the 250th anniversary of his passing. So, just before we conclude our Schubertiades, we honor him with a chamber recital, where solos, duets, and trios intertwine like you've never seen before. Unless you're familiar with his sonata for violin and cello.

For this program, we choose friends from this other chapel of Argenteuil, Léon and Aleksey, who we mix with a Basel bridge where Andriy organizes a festival in January, produced by the Music Circles, of course.

Concert programme

Mr. Ravel • Mirrors

M. Ravel • Sonata for violin and cello

J. Brahms • Trio no.1 in B Major, op. 8

by Léon Blekh, violin

Aleksey Shadrin, cello and

Andriy Dragan, piano

That's it,

I'm sold!

After all… who are the artists behind the scenes?
