About the event

Dive into the famous musical tale "Peter and the Wolf" in a crazy new version by the Cie Artichoke, accompanied by a wind quintet. Prokofiev's piece takes on a vintage 80s color...with a VW T3 van as the setting.
Directed by Sophie van der Stegen
This is the story of an extremely famous tale, written by an extremely famous Russian composer nearly a hundred years ago. The story of five wind instruments and their musicians, with an actress, aboard a Volkswagen T3 bus.
This new vintage staging promises to rediscover this work from surprising angles!

When it came time to put the family van up for sale, a venerable retro minibus from the 1980s, Lily was overcome with nostalgia. She recalled her childhood summers of unforgettable family vacations, notably spent on the road, listening to an audio cassette of Peter and the Wolf, narrated by Gérard Philippe, which had been carefully preserved until today.
Memories resurface, each more musical than the last, leading her one last time on the trail of a past that she will nevertheless never forget... Little Pierre, his stern grandfather, the chirping bird, the cat with velvet paws, the slightly clumsy duck and of course the terrifying wolf prowling nearby: you will certainly have recognized the protagonists of Serge Prokofiev's famous musical tale.

That's it,

I am            convinced!

After all… who are the artists behind the scenes?
